We began Kaylee’s quinceañera experience with a beautiful photo session at Rice University, one of our absolute favorite locations for quinceañera photography in Houston.
With its stunning architecture, long walkways, impressive archways, columns, trees, and unmistakable collegiate elegance, Rice University creates an incredible backdrop for quinceañera portraits. The combination of classical architecture and natural surroundings gives us the opportunity to create everything from timeless formal portraits to more contemporary fashion-inspired images.
Rice University has also become a very special location in the history of Quinceañeras Gallery Photography & Video. Over the years, we have photographed many quinceañeras throughout the campus, and our work at Rice has received wonderful recognition and press coverage, including being featured by Rice University itself.
We are incredibly proud that Quinceañeras Gallery has become so closely associated with quinceañera photography at Rice University. After so many years photographing beautiful young ladies among its arches, columns, walkways, and iconic architecture, it remains one of the locations we recommend most for families looking for an elegant Houston quinceañera photo session. And Kaylee looked absolutely beautiful there!
From Rice University to Iconic Hermann Park
For even more variety, Kaylee’s photo session also took us to Hermann Park, another Houston favorite. Hermann Park offers an entirely different atmosphere, with beautiful fountains, architectural pillars, gardens, flowers, trees, and open spaces that bring a softer and more romantic look to quinceañera photography.
Combining Rice University and Hermann Park gave Kaylee the best of both worlds: the sophisticated architectural style of Rice and the colorful, natural beauty of one of Houston’s most iconic parks. The result was a quinceañera gallery filled with variety while still maintaining an elegant, cohesive style.
An Elegant Celebration at Del Rey Events in Pasadena
Then it was time to celebrate! Kaylee’s quinceañera reception was hosted at Del Rey Events, located at 3316 Shaver St B, Pasadena, TX 77504, and the venue was completely transformed for her special night.
The reception looked luxurious and elegant from the moment guests arrived. Beautifully decorated tables filled the ballroom, with carefully coordinated details throughout the celebration creating the perfect setting for such an important occasion.
And, of course, there were some fabulous modern quinceañera touches too!
One of our favorites was Kaylee’s fashionable “Merch Store,” a fun and personalized addition that gave guests another way to be part of her celebration. Add to that a fabulous quinceañera cake, beautiful décor, family, friends, music, and a packed dance floor, and everything was ready for an unforgettable night.
The Waltzes, Court of Honor and Surprise Dance
Some of the most meaningful moments of any quinceañera are the traditions shared with family, and Kaylee’s celebration had plenty of them.
Her dances included a beautiful family waltz followed by an elegant choreographed waltz with her Court of Honor. These are always some of our favorite moments to photograph and film because they combine all the visual beauty of the celebration with the emotions and traditions that make a quinceañera so special.
But elegance was only part of the plan. Kaylee and her Court of Honor were also ready to turn up the energy with their surprise dance! After the formal dances, the celebration shifted gears and the dance floor came alive. Then came the perfect finale: La Hora Loca!
And this was definitely not a quiet Hora Loca. A giant robot and gorilla joined the party, taking the energy of the celebration to another level and giving Kaylee, her family, her friends, and her Court of Honor one unforgettable ending to an already incredible evening.
